DTN Weather Summary

Bryce Anderson image
Bryce Anderson – DTN Meteorologist
Rain Friday in SE Plains, N.Midwest

Light to moderate rain is in store for the southeastern Plains through northern Midwest Friday. Other primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions will have a drier trend. Drier conditions in western Midwest will allow for some water receding after flash flooding this week. We will see a renewed round of moderate to heavy rain during the Labor Day weekend in the Midwest and Delta, causing some harvest delays in southern areas along with bringing a new round of wet conditions to some saturated areas. Temperatures remain cool north and very warm to hot south. » More DTN Weather Commentary
